We're recruiting a Software Engineer (Int to Senior) for the Planning & Controls Team for a Silicon Valley-based Autonomous Vehicles tech company that's opened a new product development Toronto site. Responsibilities:
Path & motion planning and decision making algorithm development
Planning stack for defining the behaviour of the self driving vehicle
Traffic participant behavior prediction around the AV
Develop Deep Learning architectures
Qualifications:
Masters or Ph.D. degree in CS, Robotics or related field
Neural network framework experience (e.g., Tensorflow, Caffe & Torch)
Strong C++ development experience
Motion planning experience (e.g., LSTMs, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Deep Q-learning, etc)
Bonus Points:
Robotic system software development
ML for control or planning problems (e.g. Imitation Learning, Behavior Prediction, Reinforcement Learning)
Experience working with real-time systems, large-scale scalable software architectures, and large datasets
Solid technical foundation in CPU and GPU architectures, containers and numeric libraries
