gdR is recruiting a Director, Program Governance (Data Protection & DLP COE) to join an industry leader. This global role is responsible for program management in the creation of the organization's new data protection centre of excellence. You will be part of a small and nimble team that will guide the strategy and influence the implementation and measurement of data protection frameworks and programs across this global organization.
Reporting to the VP, Data Protections (which we're also recruiting for), you will be at the center of data protection initiatives across the organization and will play a significant and influential role.
As the program governance leader, this will require you to collaborate with technology groups such as security (cyber, physical, systems), platform, risk, fraud, and systems, while also working closely with global business units. You will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of this program globally ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
This role is part of a strategic and comprehensive data protection function within the First Line of Defense, ensuring implementation in accordance with regulatory expectations, risk appetite, organizational risk practices and evolving business practices
