ML Developer (Compute for Deep Learning)

Having raised in excess of $100M venture capital, with industry leading founders, and significant customers (e.g., research labs) that are using their system (it's not just a chip), they are well positioned to grow into an industry leader that's conquered challenges that people have described as impossible. 

Position Highlights

• The ML Engineer (note their are intermediate to senior roles available) will join a growing ML Engineering team in the Toronto office. The core purpose of the team is to build frameworks that takes inputs from neural network frameworks and generate an image which will run on the companies custom hardware.
• Develop connections between existing AI framework packages (e.g., TensorFlow, Caffe/2, MXNet, CNTK) to their customized back-end.
• Understand the runtime environment of existing frameworks and our backend, and connect them together in a way that is seamless to the user.
• Unify the interfaces (as much as possible) for all known frameworks.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong understanding of deep learning model architectures and training protocols.
• 2+ years of experience in software development. Note that there are intermediate to senior roles available. Although not required, ideal software development experience would be from a hardware or semiconductor chip environment.
• 2+ years of direct experience on ML framework development, using any of TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, MXNet, CNTK
• Python and C++ software development experience is required
